What makes a strong pitch

Propose one focused subject and explain the central question, what a reader will understand by the end, and why the topic suits this publication. A strong pitch has a distinct angle, uses precise language and does not rely on unsupported claims, invented examples or professional advice.

What to send

Include a working title, a short outline, the proposed category and a brief note about relevant experience if you wish. Please send a proposal rather than a finished article unless an editor has requested one. Do not include confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.

How to propose it
